Rolling Pin Rings

Rolling your dough to a uniform thickness is a snap with roller rings and this wood rolling pin (sold separately). Rubber rings slip onto your standard size rolling pin. Four sets of rings to provide 1/16", 1/8", 1/4" or 3/8" thickness. (3/8" rings fit minimum 2" diameter rolling pin).

Sugar more valuable than oil?
Cookie and candy producers are facing cost pressures and increased competition as sugar becomes more precious in the global market. Prices for raw sugar rose 60% last year and are already up 12% in 2006, and officials predict that sugar supply will fall more than 2 million metric tons short of demand this year.   Chicago Tribune

"TRIBUTE TO MOTHER"

Congratulations To Eurico "Jing" Palasigue.  His three tiered cake is a 1st Prize Winner in  the Professional Tiered Category  during the Midwest Professional Bakers Educational Conference  March  2007

The 18" round is covered by Pink Rolled Fondant, and 12" round coverd by Chocolate Fondant Marblelized and sit on a Gold Fondant layered Base to look like a trophy.  
The Heart shape is covered in rolled fondant and sprayed with Old Gold Luster Dust surrounded by lace pieces.  The abstract topper is  a Flame made of Pastillage.  All elements are handcrafted with sugar.

Cake Vase
